Some kind of blackbirds, there were hundreds of them gathered in several trees. For some reason, nobody knew what they were, even people who lived and worked there. Bella, Tyra and Sydney Tyra posing for her mom...
The little goat was sweet. About 30 seconds before she got nipped by a sheep.
The "haystack pyramid," she was the first one up.
Got mixed feelings about the pink hat, but she's cute, and it kept the sun off her face - she'd had a pretty bad sunburn over the summer one day and for a 4 hour trip, sunscreen's just not enough. Does the trick... The big pumpkin jump thingie as see from Mount Haystack. Not nearly as much fear as I'd like to see sometimes....

Description: Took my four year old daughter Sydney with a couple of her friends to the pumpkin patch in Moriarty, NM. They all had fun, but because of some decisions by the other parents, we didn't get to go on the hayride and get our pumpkin. A pumpkin-free trip to the pumpkin patch. Such is life.
