Looking over the neighbor's house. Little birds were already up and making clicky sounds to each other in the trees over there. Looks like we got a little frost; it had mostly melted, but I saw some on the ground when I walked out back.
I love how the sun hits the little foothills we see out our kitchen, and I love how the sunrises and sunsets just hit the tops of the most striking trees this time of year. For just a couple minutes each day. This warm, beautiful golden light would have been awesome for portraits, but my kid's already got a cold. (Chill-ly.)
