Description: Took Sydney and a friend hiking on Sunday, this is just 10 miles from our house. Give or take. Spring has sprung, another nice afternoon. The trail we took has a lot of variety even though it's not very long. There are still a lot of dead trees, presumably from the blight of beetles they had before I moved here, it makes for a surreal landscape; red or white dirt, very blue sky, green trees, black stumps. (Throw in some wildflowers later in the year, and it's a lot to take in. In a good way.)
