Play date... Digging for worms in some Russian olive leaves that self-composted over the winter under the snow. Nina, on the left, found a teeny one. These girls aren't scared of worms. At all.
Limpy old Waton, happy to be out with us Hey, bud! Wife
The Russian Olive isn't great for climbing. Insert joke where "lichen" is used in place of "liken" Elm buds, before the snow
Elm buds after the snow Not the worst snow we've had... The back 40. (Feet)
Check out the shrapnel to the right, this robin is going for it.

Description: Monday it was probably 55 and Anette took Sydney and her play date outside while she did stuff. There were buds on some of the plants and birds singing. Last night it snowed again, although not too much. We're due for a little more today again and maybe later in the week. Maybe spring soon, though; at least we'll probably have a real spring and not a fake one that kills all the fruit tree blossoms...
