This spider was pretty cool; it's not nearly as big as it might look here, but the colors and the purple Russian sage flowers made it kind of striking. The fat little lizard that lives in our garden in the Russian sage. A pinacate beetle eating a Russian olive. (People around here mostly call them stink beetles. There's a reason.)
Some kind of... thing... in the garden. This was a pretty small little guy, but he looked mean.
Little Molly. Hates having the camera around. Baby sunflower...
Baby grasshopper. Looks like we're going to get a couple plums.
